The Hayes Conference Centre is set in 100-acre grounds in the stunning Derbyshire countryside. Inside, the beautiful lounge areas make it a perfect place for catching up with friends over coffee and making new ones.  The rooms on offer are all double ensuite rooms, with a few twins available if you’d prefer to share. Breakfast is either cooked or continental; lunch and dinner are 2 course meals with a salad bar and gluten free and vegan options available. Please note, though, that the cost is the same whether sharing or not, whether eating or not, as the centre charges per day, per person.

Our speaker, Mel Lacy is the Executive Director of Growing Young Disciples. For over 20 years she has been in full time children’s and youth ministry in various contexts and countries. Having served as Director of the Children’s and Youth Ministry Course at Oak Hill College for 11 years, Mel is now on the faculty of Crosslands, heading up the Youth and Children’s Ministry track. Mel is also passionate about women thriving in the local church and has previously lectured on Biblical Womanhood.

The first two sessions with Mel will look at Romans 12 and the theme of Serving Sacrificially in a Self-Centred World. The third will look at Biblical Womanhood.
