The Atonement

£22.50

R.W. Dale
Published by Quinta Press

One of the classic works on the Atonement, Dale’s book has been very influential over the years. His aim is to discover what the Bible has to say on the subject and shows that then current views (which are still held by many today) have no basis in Scripture. Jesus did not die merely as an example of self-giving love but as a sacrifice for the sins of guilty sinners to make them acceptable to God.

This was one of the volumes read by Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones in 1929 which directed him towards the significance of the Cross of Christ in Gospel preaching.
